Job summary

Aurecon is hiring for a Buildings Mechanical Designer/Engineer in Singapore, focusing on mechanical design and commissioning of M&E systems for commercial and industrial buildings. You'll contribute to design integration, client communications, and project delivery in a globally diverse team.

Your background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5–8 years of relevant experience, with BIM/Revit familiarity and strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Buildings Mechanical Design and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Data Centre experience preferred.
• Strong project management, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards and practices.
• Proficiency with BIM / Revit is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for projects from initial design, through to construction and final review.
• Collaborating with other design disciplines, locally and regionally to ensure design integrity.
• Managing projects or project components, budgets, schedules, quality assurance and client feedback.
• Assisting in workload management and resource forecasting and in proposal documentation.
• Reviewing and ensuring compliance, including drawings, reports, specifications, survey and appraisals.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and developing potential business opportunities.
