Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Singapore Buildings team. You will lead mechanical design and commissioning for diverse building and infrastructure projects, collaborating with disciplinary teams to ensure integrated, compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong project management, and excellent communication skills. Data Centre exposure and BIM/Revit proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5–8 years’ relevant experience in Buildings Mechanical Design and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Data Centre experience preferred.
• Strong project management skills to lead project teams.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for projects from initial design through to construction and final review.
• Collaborating with other design disciplines locally and regionally to ensure design integrity.
• Managing projects or components, budgets, schedules, QA and client feedback; communicating changes.
• Assisting in workload management, resource forecasting and proposal documentation.
• Reviewing compliance: drawings, reports, specs, surveys, access, and appraisals.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and developing potential business opportunities.
