Job summary

Aurecon Singapore is looking for a Buildings Mechanical Design engineer to join a team of specialists who bring ideas to life across building and infrastructure projects. You will manage projects from design through construction, collaborate with disciplines regionally, and ensure quality, budgets, and client feedback are addressed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5–8 years in Buildings Mechanical Design
• Experience commissioning M&E systems in modern commercial/industrial buildings; Data Centre experience preferred
• Strong project management skills leading technical delivery
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices
• Organised approach with ability to take on more responsibility and produce detailed work
• Exposure to BIM / Revit highly desired

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for projects from initial design, through to construction and final review
• Working with other design disciplines locally and regionally to ensure design integrity
• Managing projects or project components, budgets, schedules, QA and client feedback; ensure changes are communicated
• Assisting in workload management and resource forecasting; involved in proposal documentation
• Reviewing and ensuring compliance, including drawings, reports, specs, surveys, access, and appraisals
• Building and maintaining effective client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
