Job summary

Aurecon in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Building Services leader to join our buildings team, guiding technical delivery on major projects across Asia, and mentoring engineers while shaping design standards.

You will drive energy-efficient and sustainable solutions, leverage digital engineering and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated building solutions that meet client needs and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Chartered/Professional Engineer status (PE, CPEng or equivalent) is required.
• 15+ years of mechanical building services experience in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative technical leadership and governance for mechanical building services design across major projects.
• Act as technical reviewer and approver, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and best practices.
• Lead resolution of complex technical, design, and risk-related challenges.
• Oversee mechanical engineering delivery on high-profile projects with quality, safety, cost and programme focus.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and stakeholders.
• Support bids, tenders and proposals with technical input and risk assessments.
• Set and maintain technical standards, design guides and best-practice frameworks.
• Mentor and develop senior engineers and future technical leaders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated building solutions.
• Promote innovation, digital engineering, sustainability and safety-in-design.
