Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior M&E Engineer in Singapore to lead coordination of M&E systems for building projects.

You will coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, review shop drawings, attend technical meetings, ensure compliance with drawings and standards, and support project progress with timely issue resolution and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E engineering experience in building projects.
• Residential, commercial, industrial, or data centre projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on shop drawings / samples / method statements submission and approval and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• Attend project / technical meetings and resolve site and technical issues with owner/ consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• Verify the work on site complies with approved drawings / specifications / authorities’ requirements and ensure subcontractors rectify non-compliance.
• Conduct minimally weekly M&E meetings with the M&E subcontractors to ensure work is in proper sequence and that site supervisors are aware of the sequence.
• Resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractors / suppliers timely to prevent delays to construction progress.
• Ensure proper documentation is kept up to date for records and operational needs of the project.
• Cooperate with safety department and carry out duties within the safety framework including permit to work.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors for equipment and combined services testing for authorities’ inspection readiness.
• Prepare M&E progress reports or other reports required by client or consultants.
• Compile and check completeness of all operational and maintenance manuals from suppliers / sub-contractors on completion for submission.
• Check compliance with quality standards including ISO 9000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, Green Mark and Buildability Score.
• Conduct risk assessments and management based on tender drawings and site requirements.
• Develop Value Engineering Cost Down, including cost-effective M&E solutions.
• Propose M&E work schedules and lead times to create suitable project schedules using MS Project (or equivalent) for tender projects.

• Working Days: 5 Day A Week (Monday – Friday)
• Working Hours: 8:30am -5:30pm

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E engineering experience in building projects (residential, commercial, industrial, or data centre preferred).

Job scope

• To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements submission and approval and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
