Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior M&E Engineer in Singapore to coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, manage shop drawings, and drive project progress. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of M&E experience in building projects.

You will lead site coordination, attend technical meetings, ensure compliance with drawings and standards, and maintain documentation for smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E engineering experience in building projects
• Experience coordinating with consultants/subcontractors on shop drawings, samples, method statements and approvals
• Proficient with project scheduling and MS Project or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements submission and approval and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• Attend project / technical meeting and resolve site and technical issues with owner/ consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• Verify the work on site is in accordance with the approved drawings / specifications / authorities’ requirement and ensure subcontractors carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• Conduct minimally weekly M&E meetings with the M&E subcontractors to ensure proper sequence and awareness of work sequence to avoid clashes.
• Resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractors / supplier timely to prevent delays to construction progress.
• Ensure proper documentation is always kept up to date for records and operational needs of the project.
• Cooperate with the safety department and carry out duties within the safety framework including permit to work.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors for equipment and combined services testing so site is ready for authorities’ inspection.
• Prepare M&E progress reports or other reports required by client or consultants.
• Compile and check completeness and accuracy of all operational and maintenance manuals from suppliers / sub-contractors on completion of project.
• Check compliance with quality standards including ISO 9000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, Green Mark and Buildability Score.
• Conduct risk assessments and management based on tender drawings and site requirements.
• Develop Value Engineering Cost Down, including cost-effective solutions for M&E.

Senior M&E Engineer

• Working Days: 5 Day A Week (Monday – Friday)
• Working Hours: 8:30am -5:30pm

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E engineering experience in building projects (residential, commercial, industrial, or data centre preferred).

Job scope

To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements submission and approval and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.

To attend project / technical meeting and resolve site and technical issues with owner/ consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.

To verify the work done on site is in accordance with the approved drawings / specifications/ authorities’ requirement and ensure that the subcontractors carry out rectification for non-compliance.
