Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations with exposure to PCBA.
• Proven leadership of manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Strong experience implementing TPM programmes.
• Knowledge of PCBA machinery and related manufacturing processes; supplier networks advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge of precision motors and motor controllers and related processes.
• Fluent/proficient Japanese (spoken and written) for HQ coordination and reporting.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, multi-location environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee motor controller and PCBA production operations, ensuring productivity, quality, delivery, safety and cost objectives.
• Align manufacturing performance with HQ in Japan and company goals.
• Collaborate with Sales and Logistics to align production plans with customer requirements end-to-end.
• Lead Manufacturing Engineering to ensure equipment maintenance and reliability.
• Oversee machine setup, process configuration, and readiness for new product introductions.
• Drive TPM-driven continuous improvement to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Execute production and delivery plans, coordinating with HQ and affiliated factories in Japan for alignment.
• Develop and execute production strategies with HQ to shape long-term manufacturing direction.
• Act as liaison between Singapore operations, HQ and Japan-based factories on manufacturing matters.
• Collaborate on long-term machinery investment and capacity expansion for five-year growth.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing between Singapore and Japan engineering teams.
• Lead reviews and meetings to ensure strategic initiative execution.
• Prepare and present monthly production and performance reports in Japanese to HQ and factories.
