Job summary

Oriental Motor in Singapore seeks an experienced Manager to lead motor controller and PCBA production operations, aligning with our global manufacturing strategy from Japan. You will drive excellence across manufacturing, engineering, and related functions to ensure on-time delivery with consistent quality, while coordinating with Sales, Logistics, and HQ in Japan.

You will lead TPM initiatives, manage equipment, and optimize production readiness for new products.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher qualification in a related discipline.
10+ years of manufacturing operations experience, with PCBA exposure.
Proven leadership of manufacturing and engineering teams in production environments.
Strong TPM implementation experience.
Knowledge of PCBA machinery and equipment; supplier networks advantageous.
Extensive knowledge of precision motors and motor controllers; related processes.
Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) for coordination with headquarters in Japan.

Responsibilities

Oversee motor controller and PCBA production operations to meet productivity, quality, delivery, safety, and cost objectives.
Align manufacturing performance with company goals and Japan-headquartered strategy.
Collaborate with Sales and Logistics to align production with customer requirements and ensure on-time delivery.
