Job summary

PERKINELMER SCIENTIFIC (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an engineering leader to identify and drive strategic initiatives in quality, cost and productivity while leading NPI and product transfer projects.

You will work with cross-functional teams across manufacturing to optimize processes, improve yield, and ensure ISO standards. The role demands strong project management and Six Sigma experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering.
• 8–10 years in manufacturing engineering for analytical instruments.
• NPI and product transfers experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GC, AAS manufacturing processes.
• Good oral and written communications.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Project Management experience and leadership skills.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.

Responsibilities

• Identify and propose opportunities including outsourcing ideas, EOL management, alternate sourcing and others.
• Lead NPI and Product Transfer projects to successful completion.
• Initiate value engineering projects to enhance operational capabilities to meet new business needs and raise operational efficiency.
• Lead material localization projects for improvements in product cost, quality and operational excellence.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to understand engineering related issues in order to provide effective solutions.
• Drive yield improvement, reduce COPQ and drive shopfloor productivity through automation and process enhancement.
• Improve site Safety through hazard identification and prevention.
