Job summary

PerkinElmer in Singapore is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Engineer to drive product line quality and efficiency, achieving KPIs through Lean initiatives, automation, and preventive maintenance.

You will ensure BOMs, routings, WIs, and ISO documentation are up to date, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead CI projects. Minimum bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing/production engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science disciplines.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production engineering
• Experience in Lean and Six Sigma Lean 6 sigma, Statistical Process Control and DFM experience
• Knowledge in product for continuously improve of product quality and performance
• Knowledge in ISO 13485 and ISO 9001
• Experience in BOM structure and routing hour etc.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Strong drive for results with excellent problem identification, analyzing and solving skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product line quality and efficiency so as to achieve production KPIs.
• Introduce productivity improvement through Lean processes, automation, preventive maintenance and better tools/ jigs/ fixtures design.
• Responsible for product line yield and quality.
• Support/lead CI and Lean initiatives.
• Improve tools /jigs /fixtures design.
• Support ISO9001, ISO13485 and IS14001 audits.
• Implement Preventive maintenance and ensure its effectiveness.
• Conduct RMA/DOA evaluations.
• Incorporate ECs in production and ensure its full implementation.
• Create and update WIs.
• Train production technicians.
• Support mass production of NPI.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to resolve issues related to production output and yield.
• Ensure complete, up-to-date, accurate and accessible engineering records as well as maintain accurate BOMs, routings, work instructions and ISO documents.
• Work on projects as assigned.
