Job summary

The Kallang Group in Singapore seeks a senior procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing, tender management, and supplier relations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver sourcing solutions that meet business objectives while managing risk and ensuring compliance.

You will drive process optimization using digital procurement tools, including SAP Ariba and SESAMi, and contribute to procurement transformation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, tender and contract management.
• Knowledge of procurement methodologies, supplier management frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions.
• Experience managing significant spend categories and complex supplier relationships.

Job description

As part of our team, you will be a team member supporting the planning, formulating, and managing of the procurement and contract management operations.

• Strategic Sourcing & Tender Management: manage full-cycle procurement, including market research, tender preparation, evaluation, and contract awards.
• Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with business units to understand operational requirements and deliver procurement solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Risk & Compliance Management: identify supply chain vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Process Optimization & Digital Adoption: drive operational efficiency through digital tools and Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms like SAP or Source-to-Contract platforms like SESAMi.
• Procurement Operations & Continuous Improvement: drive procurement process standardisation and operational excellence initiatives. Improve procurement efficiency through automation, analytics, digital procurement tools, and process improvement methodologies. Support procurement system optimisation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Minimum 10+ years of proven and progressive experience in strategic sourcing & category management with preference for IT & digital services, tender & contract management, procurement governance & compliance, procurement transformation initiatives, stakeholder management, cost optimisation and procurement transformation
• Knowledge of procurement methodologies, supplier management frameworks and procurement best practices
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working across functions and organisational levels
• Demonstrated experience independently managing significant spend categories and complex supplier relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to the challenges in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency in e-procurement solutions, e.g. SAP Ariba, SESAMi, etc.
