Job summary

PLATFORM&CO PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement to strengthen its procurement function and drive strategic sourcing, contract management and supplier engagement. You will partner with internal stakeholders to support operations in a complex healthcare environment.

Lead a procurement team, develop sourcing strategies, manage tenders and ensure governance and compliance, while identifying cost optimisation opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience with team leadership.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, tenders, and contract negotiations.
• Proven track record delivering measurable savings and process improvements.
• Solid governance and risk management understanding.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Healthcare, life sciences or public sector exposure is a plus.
• Experience with SAP Ariba and/or SAP MM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a procurement team, guiding sourcing activities, tenders and commercial engagements.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver commercial value, cost efficiencies and sustainable procurement outcomes.
• Manage end-to-end tender, RFP and RFQ exercises with governance and commercial rigour.

• Review procurement activities, identify risks and ensure governance and compliance.
• Drive initiatives to improve procurement processes, efficiency and service delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve commercial, performance and service-related issues.
• Oversee contract management, including reviews, renewals and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process improvement and value creation.
• Maintain procurement documentation to support audit and governance requirements.
• Provide procurement guidance and develop team capabilities.

Our client is an established organisation supporting Singapore's public healthcare sector and is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Procurement to strengthen its procurement function.

This role will be responsible for strategic procurement, sourcing, contract management and supplier engagement, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to support operational requirements in a complex healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a procurement team, providing guidance on sourcing activities, tenders and commercial engagements.

Requirements

• Degree or relevant professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience, with experience in leading or managing a team.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, tender management and contract negotiations.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement process improvement and delivering measurable commercial value or savings.
• Good understanding of procurement governance, risk management and contract management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
• Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate procurement professionals.
• Experience within healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, public sector or another complex/regulatory environment will be advantageous.
• Experience with SAP MM and/or SAP Ariba will be an advantage.
