Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks an Operations Leader in Singapore to provide strategic direction for engine delivery commitments and drive cross-functional performance. You will lead the Operations Team, manage growth projects for the PW4000 fleet, and ensure customer satisfaction through relentless improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • 10 years of relevant broad-based experience in Aerospace Aftermarket MRO.
  • Solid understanding of EH&S, regulatory, quality, operational, technical, and financial requirements.
  • Proven leadership with strong motivation, people development, and decision-making skills.
  • Problem-solver who utilizes cross-functional team expertise to address operational challenges.
  • Excellent strategic & analytical thinking with strong execution capabilities.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with matrix reporting structures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership and strategic direction to meet engine delivery commitments.
  • Lead the cultural transformation across the organization.
  • Drive operational excellence and accountability for KPIs like monthly engine delivery, OTD, COPQ, DCI.
  • Plan and manage Operations Team to meet monthly engine deliverables.
  • Support growth projects to keep PW4000 fleet flying.
  • Develop policy deployment plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive CORE initiatives to improve efficiency.
  • Establish cross-functional communication and nurture talent and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with Transformation team to drive efficiency.
  • Execute other strategic or ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Provide operational leadership and strategic direction to meet engine delivery commitments and ensure customer satisfaction. Lead the cultural transformation across the organization.

Drive operational excellence and be accountable for key performance metrics for: monthly engine delivery, profit margins, cost per hour (CPH), on-time delivery (OTD), cost of poor quality (COPQ), productivity and direct cost initiatives (DCI).

Plan and manage Operations Team to meet monthly engine deliverables.

Support and drive growth projects to ensure keep the PW4000 fleet flying.

Work with the management team to plan, develop, implement, and oversee policy deployment plan actions aligned with the overall business plan objectives and targets.

Drive productivity and continuous improvement (CORE) initiatives to improve efficiency workplace.

Ensure full regulatory compliance culture in Global Trade, EHS, Ethics, Quality and more.

Lead cost-reduction initiatives to enhance profitability and business sustainability.

Foster a high-engagement culture built on respect, empowerment, communication, and collaboration.

Establish strong cross-functional communication with departments to align business goals and timelines.

Develop talent and succession plans for leadership continuity and team stability.

Work closely with the Transformation team to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Execute other strategic or ad-hoc projects assigned by leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline.

  • 10 years of relevant broad-based experience in Aerospace Aftermarket MRO.

  • Solid understanding of all aspects of the business, including EH&S, people development, regulatory, quality, operational, technical, and financial requirements.

  • Proven leadership with strong motivation, people development, and decision-making skills.

  • Problem-solver who utilizes cross-functional team expertise to address operational challenges.

  • Excellent strategic & analytical thinking with strong execution capabilities.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with matrix reporting structures.

  • Good communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders across all organizational levels.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Familiarity with commercial engine platforms and engine center operations and flow.

  • Strong data analysis and business intelligence skills with proficiency in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel for performance monitoring and reporting.
