Pratt & Whitney Singapore is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support PW1900G/PW1500G Production and MRO networks. The role focuses on engine performance analysis, data-driven insights, and collaboration with airline customers in a hybrid work setting.

You will provide system-level event analysis, support root-cause investigations, and communicate findings through technical reviews. A STEM degree, strong English, and a passion for aerospace are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance for PW1900G/PW1500G Production/MRO network and airline customers.
  • Perform system level event analysis for Production, MRO and fielded engines.
  • Monitor engine performance with focus on performance trending, SPC, limit exceedance and QA dispositions.
  • Ensure safe field operation of PW engines through operability and performance analysis.
  • Lead data analytics initiatives using field data sources and aero-thermal models.
  • Generate and communicate technical presentations to program stakeholders and customers.

What You Will Do

Provide technical guidance for PW1900G/PW1500G Production/MRO network and airline customers. Perform system level event analysis for Production, MRO and fielded engines. Actively monitor PW1900G/PW1500G Production, MRO and fielded engine performance including with a focus on the following areas: performance trending, statistical process control, limit exceedance and quality assurance dispositions, test cell correlation, effectivity of overhaul work scope via gas generator component analysis, deterioration modeling and trend shift diagnosis via gas generator component analysis. Ensure safe field operation of reliable P&W engines through analysis of engine operability, performance, and product usage. Trend fleet-wide performance and investigate anomalies. Data Analytics Perform fielded engine event support and system analysis data review using field data sources. Provide technical guidance for PW1900G/PW1500G airline customers. Support data analytics initiatives utilizing field data sources and big data tools Lead and support engineering Root Cause investigations (e.g. part failure) through use of event data, fleet usage data and aero-thermal models. Generate and communicate technical presentations and reviews to key program stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

You Must Have BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Fluent in English (verbal/written) Work schedule: Hybrid, working alternately in-office and remotely. Strong teamwork and communication skills. A passion for aerospace and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Aerospace industry (min 2 years in MRO environment) Practical knowledge of engine hardware and system level design Experience in Programming and Data Analytics / Data Visualization tools (C++, Python, MATLAB, etc) Experience in communicating with internal and external customers. Knowledge of engine performance and operability concepts Knowledge of component aerodynamics, air systems, heat transfer & secondary flow.
