Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking a Senior Manager/Asst Director of Operations (Medicine) to lead cross-disciplinary initiatives within the Division of Medicine. You will plan, develop and implement clinical services and care models, translating clinical intent into practical operational solutions in collaboration with Service Operations and MEC Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 10–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare operations, clinical services development or hospital administration, including people management responsibilities.
• Experience working with senior clinicians or professional leaders to plan and implement clinical services or programmes in a tertiary care setting is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and execution skills with ability to drive initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to support operational planning and performance monitoring.
• Experience in supervising, coaching and developing team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate-level Excel skills (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis).
• Good written, communication and presentation skills (English).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-disciplinary initiatives across Medicine to plan, develop and implement clinical services and care models.
• Translate clinical intent into practical, sustainable operational solutions in collaboration with Service Operations and MEC Operations teams.
• Drive service development and access improvement efforts and redesign patient journeys and workflows.
• Provide regular reports and updates to department, division, organisation and cluster-level stakeholders.
• Supervise, coach and develop the Ops Med team; build capability in clinical operations support and analytics.
