Job summary

The Kallang Group is seeking a high-level Mechanical Systems Manager to lead the planning, maintenance and operation of facilities within the Kallang Alive Precinct including National Stadium, Singapore Indoor Stadium and allied venues.

You will drive system lifecycle management, manage service providers, and deliver sustainable building operations while coordinating with government agencies, SportSG and vendors. Strong leadership and 12–15 years’ experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12-15 years industry experience in leading and overseeing maintenance of large scale mission critical facilities.
• Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registration with Singapore Professional Engineers Board is an advantage.
• Experienced in managing multi-disciplinary teams including sub-contract vendors.
• Proven track record in managing and leading specialists’ teams and handling internal/external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of precinct operations and users’ requirements.
• Experience with design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and condemnation of mechanical systems.
• Experience in building services and facilities operation and improvement projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and management of mechanical systems across the 90-hectare precinct facilities.
• Lead service providers for maintenance, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met, assess equipment and life cycle costs.
• Serve as SME for mechanical systems, provide technical advisory to in-house team and future upgrades.
• Address complex challenges, provide technical solutions and align with stakeholders.
• Cascade environmental sustainability measures to realise green building strategies.
• Support budget, contracts, tender specs, and procurement with governance compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain trusted service standards.
