Job summary

Eastern Community Hospital (ECH) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Senior Manager/Manager, Hospital Planning & Commissioning. Reporting to Chief Operating Officer and Project Lead, you will play a key role in planning, coordination, commissioning and operational readiness of the new hospital development.

You will work closely with project consultants, government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that planning requirements,

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline with 6+ years in infrastructural development, project management or related fields
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage
• Experience in healthcare infrastructure development, hospital planning, commissioning or operational readiness is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, commission and ensure operational readiness of the new hospital development
• Collaborate with project consultants, government agencies, contractors and stakeholders to meet schedule and budget
• Ensure regulatory compliance and deployment of furniture, fixtures and equipment (F&E) across the project
• Prepare reports, presentations and management papers to drive alignment and decision making

Reporting to Chief Operating Officer and Project Lead, you will play a key role in planning, coordination, commissioning and operational readiness of the new hospital development. You will work closely with project consultants, government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that planning requirements, infrastructure readiness, furniture, fixtures and equipment (F&E) deployment, regulatory compliance and commissioning activities are delivered on schedule, within budget and in alignment with organisational objectives.

Job Requirements

• Degree in any discipline with at least 6 years of relevant experience in infrastructural development, project management, or related fields. Candidates with 8 or more years of relevant experience may be considered for Senior Manager position.
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in healthcare infrastructure development, hospital planning, commissioning, operational readiness will be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and project management skills, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Proven experience in planning, risk management, implementation, and coordination of complex projects.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and management papers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
