Job summary

GovTech in Singapore is recruiting to manage the implementation of Community Development Council's Jobs Nearby @ CDC initiative and related programmes in the district, connecting residents with employment opportunities and community services through targeted outreach and programme coordination.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in outreach, career and skills advisory, community engagement, HR/recruitment, or workforce development.
• Knowledge of 2nd language (e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or dialects) to effectively engage with diverse residents in the community.
• Coaching and/or facilitation certification would be desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong team player and self-starter.
• Familiarity with employment trends, workforce policies, and training ecosystem in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Support Job Ambassadors in their daily operations at job clinics by providing operational assistance and coordination.
• Support the delivery of capability-building sessions for Job Ambassadors to provide high-touch job assistance.
• Implement outreach plans to increase CDC awareness and participation in job advisory services.
• Liaise and maintain partnerships with employers, merchants, SMEs, training providers, grassroots, and community partners.
• Process and manage case referrals and queries from the public, inter-agency partners, and Grassroots Advisers, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate support.
• Track job placement outcomes and assist Job Ambassadors with job-matching activities and strategies.
• Gather feedback and insights from JobAmbassadors and stakeholders to support programme refinements and improvements.
• Manage and track data of residents served, job referrals, and placement targets for reporting.
• Partner with relevant stakeholders in district-wide career events and upskilling workshops.

What you will be working on

• Support Job Ambassadors in their daily operations at job clinics by providing operational assistance and coordination.
• Support the delivery of capability-building sessions for Job Ambassadors to provide high-touch job assistance.
• Implement outreach plans to increase CDC awareness and participation in job advisory services.
• Liaise and maintain partnerships with employers, merchants, Small Medium Enterprise (SMEs), training providers, grassroots, and community partners.
• Process and manage case referrals and queries from the public, inter-agency partners, and Grassroots Advisers, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate support.
• Track job placement outcomes and assist Job Ambassadors with job-matching activities and strategies.
