Job summary

The Blue Barrel Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role on a Singapore East project site.

You will manage tendering, cost control, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in QS or Engineering and at least 10 years of QS experience in M&E building projects, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in QS or Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of QS experience in the construction of M&E Building projects.
• Good knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Contracts Administration.
• Good time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage particular tasks in charge.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of RFQ’s.
• Source for quotation for materials and service.
• Analysis and evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
• Cost planning, estimation and measurement of quantities.
• Responsible for claims, variation orders, budget & cost control.
• Prepare settlement for final account.
• Manage Contracts administration.
• Handle issues including extension of time, terms and conditions, loss and expenses claims, etc.
