Job summary

Oneness M&C Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 2+ years of M&E experience to manage cost control, tendering, and contractual matters on building projects. You will prepare estimates, review documents, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate costing and timely submissions.

The role requires strong negotiation, numerical skills, and familiarity with VO, final accounts, and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of M&E Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience with an M&E subcontractor is required.
• Experience handling New Build and/or A&A projects.
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices, including progress claims, VO, contract administration and project costing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for M&E projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, cost analysis, and quantity take-offs.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare subcontract packages, purchase requisitions, and cost comparisons.
• Handle project cost planning, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, payment claims, VO, and final accounts.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor and supplier claims.
• Monitor project costs, identify cost variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Maintain proper project documentation, cost records, and contract administration.
• Attend project meetings when required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.
