Job summary

BANEN ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to support major building projects in Singapore. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering Mechanical & Electrical works in line with programme, quality and project requirements.

You will work closely with consultants, subcontractors and project teams to ensure installations meet specifications and safety standards, with a clear path toward progression on senior M&E leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
• Relevant M&E experience within building construction projects.
• Main Contractor experience will be highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of M&E installation, coordination, testing and commissioning.
• Experience coordinating M&E services with structural and architectural works.
• Strong site coordination, communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage M&E works for building construction projects from installation through testing and handover.
• Supervise M&E subcontractors and monitor site progress, workmanship and construction schedules.
• Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, method statements and material submissions.
• Coordinate M&E services with structural and architectural works to resolve clashes and interface issues.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and project teams on technical, coordination and construction matters.
• Monitor M&E procurement, material delivery and key installation milestones.
• Coordinate inspections, testing & commissioning and handover of M&E systems.
• Ensure M&E works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality and safety requirements.
