Job summary

houston construction pte. ltd. is seeking a seasoned M&E Site Coordinator to supervise and coordinate electrical and mechanical works at our project sites in Singapore.

You will review project specifications and resolve technical clarifications. Responsibilities include preparing method statements, checking drawings for discrepancies, and coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors. You will monitor progress, enforce quality standards and ensure compliance with safety and ISO

Qualifications

• 5–8 years’ coordination experience in main-con companies
• HDB project experience is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to start work on short notice

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate M&E works at project site.
• Review project specifications and clarify technical issues.
• Prepare method statements and resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Handle project planning, design, material requisition, and cost control.
• Coordinate with client representatives, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and quality of workmanship for safety compliance.
• Ensure ISO system compliance.

Job description

Responsibilities:-

• Responsible for the supervision and coordination of M&E works at project site.
• Review project specifications and technical clarifications
• Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies, defects, inconsistency in construction drawings.
• Carry out the project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
• Supervise the M & E works and coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
• Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with requirements
• Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety & environmental regulations are complied
• Ensure project activities complied with the Company’s ISO system

Requirement:-

• Qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• 5 – 8 years’ of coordination experience in main-con companies, preferably in HDB Project experience will be an advantage
• Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of staff
• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Able to start work within short notice
