Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore seeks a senior professional to coordinate Liveability, Sustainability and Infrastructure (LSI) across naval base development projects. You will address wellbeing and safety, ensuring sites meet standards and provide a comfortable working environment for personnel.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in LSI-related roles.
• Education in Liveability, Sustainability, Building Infrastructure or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to operate within policy frameworks and alignment with sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee LSI matters across base development projects.
• Ensure development sites meet compliance and standards, including monitoring workplace conditions.
• Incorporate welfare inputs into the design of working spaces within the base.
• Engage stakeholders on climate adaptation, energy sources, efficiency, and environmental protection measures.
• Provide governance and advisory oversight for climate resilience and sustainability outcomes.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to record defects and climate/sustainability issues.
• Support tasks across other sites within the unit's remit when needed.
