Job summary

CAN CARLITOS PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a capable cook to join its vibrant kitchen. You will prepare and cook menu items to recipe and presentation standards, lead a station when needed, and support the team during daily service and events.

Experience of at least 1 year in a restaurant kitchen is required, with Spanish or Mediterranean cuisine experience a plus. You will work a 5-day week, with staff meals, medical benefits and opportunities to progress to Chef de Partie within Mission Group.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a cook in a restaurant kitchen.
• Experience with Spanish or Mediterranean cuisine is an advantage.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe, presentation and portion standards.
• Keep station organised, efficient and well stocked.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Carry out mise en place and prep for service and events.
• Monitor food quality, freshness and consistency throughout service.
• Help manage stock, receive deliveries, and maintain FIFO storage.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and safety.
