Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to support base maintenance operations in Singapore. The role involves aircraft inspection, functional tests, and certification, with licences from CAAS or equivalent authorities welcomed for consideration.

The ideal candidate will have a CAAS-approved licence or equivalent, practical experience with maintenance data, and a safety-conscious approach.

• Candidates holder Licence without type rating from the above issuing authorities are also welcomed to apply
• Permanent and Fixed Term Contract roles available
• Opportunity to convert to CAAS Licence for licence holder who does not possess the CAAS licence

Responsibilities

• Day to day routine maintenance & rectification of aircraft defects
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with approved maintenance data, company, authority and customers’ requirements
• Performing aircraft release to service certification (CRS) for maintenance and repair of aircraft according to the Company authorization issued by Quality Department
• Assisting in the forecasting of manpower, spares & equipment needs
• Ensuring that all staff under his control observes safety precautions, reporting of unsafe working condition & operation
• Assisting in the investigation of incident/accident reports and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Ensuring that tools & equipment under his control are properly maintained, calibrated and correctly used for the jobs
• Ensuring action is always taken to maintain the aircraft on schedule
• General supervision, control & discipline of staff under his charge
• Performing other duties, as and when required

We are looking for B1.1 trained Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) to support our base maintenance operations. The role will involve aircraft inspection and functional test, and certification. The ideal candidate will be a CAAS, CAAM, CAA HK, CAAC, CAANZ, CASA, UK CAA, JCAB Licence holder with or without aircraft type rating.
