Job summary

ENCORA TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Level 3 Production Support Developer to investigate production incidents, fix defects, and support change requests in a banking-focused environment.

You will coordinate with platform and testing teams, review code, and ensure timely production releases. The role demands deep Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs, Linux scripting, and strong DevOps experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Splunk.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of Java-J2EE experience in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, REST/SOAP Web services.
• Strong Unix/Linux scripting and hands-on in Microservices.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube.
• Familiarity with Splunk for log analysis and incident response.
• Proven ability to own production defects end-to-end and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Investigate production incidents for root cause and fix defects in production.
• Update Jira/Confluence with change details and coordinate CRs.
• Collaborate with peer developers and Platform team for reviews.
• Coordinate with testing teams to prioritize defect resolution.
• Participate in daily defect triage, code handover, and Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure code merges regularly to git and maintain CI/CD practices.
• Take end-to-end ownership on production defect fixing until release.
• Guide and manage offshore team and interface with business teams.
