Job summary

Encora Inc. is seeking an Applications Maintenance Engineer to ensure ongoing reliability of our production systems in Singapore.

The candidate will analyze incidents, drive remediation, and coordinate with QA and development teams to minimize defects while supporting SIT/UAT and production deployments. The role requires strong Java/Spring Boot experience, API/microservices skills, and extensive SQL/O-R/M ORM knowledge, along with a proven track record across multiple tech stacks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot and API/Microservices expertise.
• Experience with databases (SQL) and ORM (Hibernate).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and incident/problem handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis on incidents and provide remediation.
• Prioritize defects and plan production releases.
• Develop programs and support SIT/UAT and deployment to production.
• Maintain production stability and assess risk/impact of deployments.
• Follow up on defect closure and meet KPIs.
• Share defect learnings with QA and development teams.
