Job summary

Hcl Comnet Singapore is seeking a seasoned Java Microservices Architect to lead development of large distributed systems. You will design, implement, and optimize backend services using Spring Boot, REST and SOAP, with a strong emphasis on scalability and security.

Candidates should have 5+ years in backend integration, hands-on Java/J2EE, Azure AKS, Kafka, and API management. You will mentor teams, define standards, and drive deployment pipelines in Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of technical experience in backend development and system integration.
• Strong hands-on Java/J2EE with Spring Boot experience.
• Deep knowledge of microservices, REST and SOAP services.
• Experience with Java 8+ and testing with JUnit/Cucumber.
• Familiarity with design patterns and clean code practices.
• Experience with Spring Cloud and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience in Azure AKS, API Gateway and Open Service Mesh.
• Knowledge of OAuth token-based authentication and security coding standards.
• Experience with MSSQL data modelling and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Craft and implement large distributed systems with microservices.
• Translate requirements into scalable design and architecture.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure technical solutions meet needs.
• Define best practices and standards for microservice implementation.
• Lead efforts to build accelerators and tooling to improve deliverables.

• Champion efficient use of technology and platforms.
