Job summary

We are seeking a Java Microservices Developer in Singapore for a permanent role. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend systems with strong Java fundamentals, microservices architecture, and REST API development.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on coding experience, good problem-solving skills, and familiarity with cloud-native environments, CI/CD, and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java 8/11/17 with strong fundamentals.
• Experience in building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on coding and problem solving in cloud-native environments.
• Familiar with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Backend development using Java with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for enterprise apps.
• Integrate Kafka for real‑time data streaming.
• Work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and DevOps.
• Participate in live coding assessments and optimize algorithms.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Work on cloud/containerization initiatives using AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker.
