Job summary
OCBC is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to drive end-to-end Loan Origination solutions for a regional squad in Singapore. You will lead hands-on development in Java, shape credit workflows, and advance automation and testing programs within a regulated banking environment.
You will collaborate with business, risk, and compliance stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant deployments, leveraging AI to boost efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of software engineering experience (banking/financial services preferred).
- Proven delivery of Loan Origination Systems or digital lending platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Loan Origination solutions within a regional squad.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership using Java and API-driven architectures.
- Drive automation, testing practices, and CI/CD implementations (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Ensure system reliability with observability and monitoring (Kibana).
- Manage data integrity through SQL development and database validation.
- Leverage AI technologies to enhance development efficiency and lending capabilities.
- Collaborate with business, operations, and regulatory stakeholders with strong documentation and audit traceability.
