Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a regional squad of engineers, delivering Loan Origination Platform solutions that meet MAS TRM guidelines and regulatory standards.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, work with credit risk and compliance stakeholders, and drive automation with Java, CI/CD, and observability tools to ensure reliable, scalable systems. 5–8 years of banking software experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience in banking or financial services.
• Proven experience delivering LOS or digital lending platforms.
• Strong Java development and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with MAS TRM guidelines and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of LOS solutions including credit workflow and document management.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership using Java and API-driven architecture.
• Drive CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab; ensure observability and security checks.
• Collaborate with business, risk, and compliance stakeholders; maintain audit traceability.
