Job summary

Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Banking (CA-CIB) in Singapore seeks a seasoned Java/J2EE cloud-native software engineer with 10+ years of experience. You will architect and build scalable cash management platforms, lead a small team, and collaborate across global IT and business units.

Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Spark, and Kafka is essential. The role is a 12-month bank contract based in Singapore, focusing on modernizing payments processing and regulatory-compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of web and stand-alone application design and development with Java/JEE and big data technologies in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Strong leadership to guide 5-8 technology enthusiasts
• Experience with cloud native / Kubernetes & Docker development (3-4 years)
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Spark Streaming and Kafka
• Solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, TOGAF)
• Knowledge of payments, cash management domain, or banking tech would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Architect a platform enabling high throughput, low latency cash management solutions
• Design and develop cloud-native applications following defined standards
• Ensure code quality and delivery with non-regression testing
• Provide detailed estimations for development during agile ceremonies
• Mentor junior team members and review designs/code
• Perform level-3 production support and issue resolution
• Coordinate with vendor teams and ensure vendor adherence to best practices
