Job summary

LTM in Singapore is seeking a Senior Java Developer with deep banking domain expertise to design, build, test, and support mission-critical financial product solutions that process high-volume, real-time transactions.

You will drive microservices architecture using Spring, REST APIs, and messaging with IBM MQ and Kafka, implement resilience with Resilience4j, and ensure security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive Java development experience in banking applications.
• Strong knowledge of Spring ecosystem and microservices.
• Experience leading or mentoring developers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade banking applications using Java and Spring.
• Build scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Develop batch processing with Spring Batch for financial transactions.
• Implement resilient services using Resilience4j patterns.
• Integrate banking applications with external and internal systems using IBM MQ and Kafka.
• Develop secure, performant, and maintainable code adhering to banking standards.
• Participate in solution design and architectural discussions.
• Create automated unit and integration tests using JUnit.
• Conduct code quality validation through SonarQube and address technical debt.
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot critical banking applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and Client Implementation teams.
• Participate in Agile development practices and release management activities.
