Job summary

The role requires 9+ years in Java backend development with Spring, REST, and distributed systems, plus hands-on experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring ecosystem, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or JMS.
• Strong DB knowledge: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD.
• Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech exposure is mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Build secure RESTful APIs and integrate with core banking systems and gateways.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Optimize database performance with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Perform code reviews, testing, production support, and performance optimization.
