Job summary

INFINITE COMPUTER SOLUTIONS PTE LTD is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high-throughput banking applications. You will work in Agile teams to develop scalable microservices and resilient APIs supporting critical services.

The role requires 9+ years of backend Java experience, strong Spring/Spring Cloud skills, and hands-on knowledge of databases and CI/CD tooling. Banking/FinTech exposure is mandatory, with a 12-month engagement in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of hands-on Java backend experience.
• Expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or JMS.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices.
• Prior Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Build secure RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party financial services.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Optimize database performance and design solutions leveraging Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Perform code reviews, application testing, production support, and performance optimization.
