Job summary

ACCTON TECHNOLOGY SG PTE. LTD. is establishing a new factory in Singapore and seeks an experienced IT Support Executive to provide day-to-day technical support for office and factory operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software, and ensuring smooth operation of business and production IT systems. The role covers IT helpdesk, network and infrastructure support, factory/production IT, cybersecurity, documentation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant IT support experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking, Microsoft 365, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting factory/manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to respond promptly to IT issues.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

A leading MultinationalCorporation (MNC) headquartered in Taiwan is establishing a new factory inSingapore. We are seeking an experienced IT Support Executive who will be responsiblefor providing day-to-day technical support for the company’s office and factoryoperations. This includes maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting hardwareand software, troubleshooting system and network issues, and ensuring smoothoperation of business and production-related IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Helpdesk

• Provide first-level technical support to office and factory users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and email issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and scanners.
• Support Microsoft Office, ERP systems, accounting software, and other business applications.
• Set up user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
• Maintain IT inventory, software licenses, and asset records.
• Perform regular system updates, antivirus checks, and data backups.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when necessary.
• Manage, prioritize, track, and close IT service tickets according to SLA requirements through IT Ticket Management
• Support meeting-room AV equipment, video conferencing, displays, projectors, and presentation systems where applicable.
• Identify recurring IT issues and propose improvements to support processes, services, and user experience.

Network & Infrastructure

• Monitor and maintain LAN/Wi-Fi network connectivity for office and factory.
• Support internet, VPN, firewall, switches, and server operations.
• Ensure stable connectivity for factory production systems and devices.
• Assist in troubleshooting network downtime and system failures.

Factory / Production Support

• Provide IT support for factory operations, including production PCs, barcode scanners, label printers, CCTV, and attendance systems.
• Assist in supporting manufacturing or warehouse systems where applicable.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize operational disruptions caused by IT issues.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security procedures.
• Monitor and report potential cybersecurity threats or suspicious activities.
• Support implementation of backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of company data and systems.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain proper documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting records.
• Prepare periodic reports on IT issues, maintenance activities, and asset status.
• Recommend improvements to enhance IT efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant IT support experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, Microsoft 365, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting factory/manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and respond promptly to IT issues.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing software.
• Basic knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, Proxmox virtualization platform, NAS system, HPE Storage and network equipment would be advantage.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices, Azure Entra ID and Windows Server.
• Experience with CCTV, biometric attendance systems, or barcode systems is an added advantage.
