Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners seeks an experienced Senior IT Program Manager to run large-scale technology transformation initiatives in Banking & Financial Services. Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior IT Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale technology transformation, migration, and digital delivery initiatives within the Banking & Financial Services practice.

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end program governance, cross-functional stakeholder management, and direct delivery oversight across distributed teams. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing enterprise platforms (BPM, ECM, Customer Communications), leading hybrid Agile/Waterfall deliveries, and navigating multi-country stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Delivery & Governance: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise technology programs from initiation through execution, deployment, and operational transition. Establish governance structures, milestone tracking, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Management & Commercial Execution: Partner with business leaders, external vendors, and technical teams to align project outcomes with business objectives. Oversee statement of work (SOW) execution, resource costing, and financial delivery performance.
• Enterprise Platform Implementations: Drive technology transformation projects focused on Business Process Management (BPM/Pega), Enterprise Content Management (ECM/FileNet), and Enterprise Customer Communication Platforms (StreamServe/Thunderhead).
• Workplace & Infrastructure Transformation: Oversee workplace technology rollouts, including Office 365, MS Intune, Windows Autopilot, and cloud infrastructure integration.
• Agile & Waterfall Execution: Manage distributed project teams (offshore and onshore) using SAFe, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• RFP & Solutioning Support: Collaborate with vertical sales and solutions teams to support Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, technical scoping, and solution architecture alignment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: At least 12 years of experience in IT project or program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex technology transformation initiatives. Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Public Sector projects is preferred, where relevant to the role.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) and SAFe Agilist (or equivalent Agile framework certification) are preferred. Six Sigma or domain-specific certifications (e.g., Pega delivery/CDH badges) are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience delivering projects involving Pega BPM/CRM or similar enterprise workflow solutions. Exposure to Enterprise Content Management platforms, such as IBM FileNet/CMOD, and Customer Communication Management platforms, such as OpenText StreamServe and Thunderhead. Experience managing workplace technology and cloud migration projects involving AWS, Office 365, MS Intune and Active Directory.
• Leadership & Delivery: Strong team management experience overseeing multi-disciplinary onshore/offshore teams across APAC markets.
