Tangspac Consulting Group is seeking an experienced IT procurement lead (Manager) to join our banking client in Singapore. This leadership role drives strategic sourcing initiatives, manages complex vendor relationships, and oversees end-to-end procurement processes for large-scale IT engagements.

You will optimize supplier performance, mitigate risks, and deliver cost-efficient, high-value outcomes aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in strategic IT sourcing/procurement, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proven vendor management across large, high-value contracts.
• Experience running end-to-end tender processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ).
• Strong risk, regulatory awareness and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for IT categories within banking.
• Manage full procurement lifecycle from market analysis to contract award.
• Oversee large IT contracts ensuring compliance and value delivery.
• Develop vendor governance, metrics and continuous improvement.
• Conduct negotiations to achieve favorable terms and cost savings.
• Identify and mitigate supplier/contractual risks in line with regulations.
• Collaborate with IT, Risk, Legal and Finance to align sourcing strategies.
• Drive supplier innovation, cost optimisation and service excellence.
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to inform strategies.
