Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, manage, and operate enterprise IT across networks, systems and cloud platforms. You will work with Cybersecurity to apply security controls and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will design end-to-end infrastructure, administer and support network and server platforms (Windows/Linux), and manage virtualization and storage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering and IT infrastructure management.
• Proficient in Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5 and related security controls.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with system hardening, patching, and security best practices.
• Strong RCA, troubleshooting and incident response abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions.
• Implement and support network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, NAC).
• Administer systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) incl. storage.
• Operate monitoring tools (Grafana, Zabbix, PRTG, Nagios).
• Manage Microsoft 365 services and hybrid identity (Entra ID).
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Plan patches, upgrades, migrations and capacity improvements.
• Enforce security best practices (segmentation, firewalls, NAC).
• Perform system hardening (CIS benchmarks).
• Support incident response, troubleshooting and on-call operations.

Job description

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and operation of enterprise IT infrastructure across networks, systems, and cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This includes a solid focus on secure configuration, system hardening, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a hands‑on role that requires the ability to translate design into practical implementation across network devices, servers (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments. You will work closely with the Cybersecurity team to implement security controls, address vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions.
• Implement, administer and support network infrastructure (wired and wireless networks, routing, switching, load balancer, firewalls, VPNs, NAC).
• Implement, support and administer systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) including storage server and vSAN.
• Implement, support and administer IT Infrastructure monitoring tools such as Grafana, Zabbix, PRTG and Nagios.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams), and support hybrid identity (on-prem AD + Entra ID).
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Plan and execute patching, upgrades, migrations, and capacity improvements.
• Implement and enforce security best practices (segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, NAC).
• Perform system hardening (CIS benchmarks or equivalent).
• Support incident response, troubleshooting, and on‑call operations.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering, IT infrastructure management, and IT administration.
• Solid technical and hands‑on experience in network technologies: Routing, switching, ACL, VLANs, Firewalls, VPNs, and Network Access Control (NAC), wired and wireless networks.
• Solid technical and hands‑on experience in enterprise network and security solutions: Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5 Load Balancers, PAM, SIEM and Microsoft network technologies.
• Good technical and hands‑on experience in systems and infrastructure: M365, Windows Servers and RedHat Enterprise Linux, Virtualization Platforms (VMware and Hyper‑V), NAS, SAN and vSAN storage.
• Hands‑on experience with system hardening, patch management, and infrastructure security practices.
• Hands‑on experience with both on‑premises and cloud‑based infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, RHCE, MCSE, VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and deliver reliable solutions.
