Job summary

STAFFKING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an IT support professional to be the go-to for 270 staff on hardware, software, network issues, and general IT support, including remote help for hybrid users and occasional site visits.

The role involves troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and devices, resolving LAN/Wi‑Fi issues, administering Active Directory, onboarding/offboarding, liaising with vendors, and maintaining up‑to‑date documentation and security practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, networking and firewalls (ideally Sophos) in a Windows environment preferred.
• Background in IT support, helpdesk or desktop support would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to support for around 270 staff on hardware, software, network and general IT issues, including remote support for hybrid users and occasional site visits.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers and other office equipment, and deploy new devices.
• Resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, switch and connectivity issues, and help administer and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall
• Handle Active Directory tasks such as creating and disabling accounts, password resets, access permissions, domain joins and basic Group Policy
• Manage IT onboarding and offboarding, user access and basic security practices
• Liaise with external vendors on quotations, procurement, repairs, warranty claims and installation or maintenance services
• Keep IT inventory, system configurations and troubleshooting procedures documented and up to date
• Escalate complex issues to the Chief IT or vendors when needed, keeping all systems and equipment running smoothly
