Job summary

Allied Search Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior IT Engineer on a 1 year contract to provide day-to-day IT support across hardware, software, network and user issues. You will troubleshoot devices, manage AD and basic firewall tasks, and assist with onboarding/offboarding and IT asset records.

Diploma or Degree in IT/CS/IS required; prior IT support experience is advantageous. The role offers a competitive remuneration package and clear progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT support or helpdesk is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, network, and user issues.
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, peripherals, printers, LAN/Wi‑Fi, and basic network issues.
• Administer basic Sophos Firewall and Active Directory functions, including user accounts, passwords, access, and Group Policies.
• Manage IT hardware setup, deployment, maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Coordinate with vendors on IT procurement, quotations, warranties, repairs, and support services.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and basic system documentation.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when required.
• Ensure IT systems and equipment remain operational and properly maintained.
