Swift Search Global Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Support professional to provide daily technical assistance to staff, manage desktops, laptops, and printers, and maintain network connectivity. You will administer Active Directory, assist with firewall security, and coordinate vendor support for IT equipment and services.

The role requires Windows OS and Microsoft 365 proficiency, plus basic networking knowledge. Strong troubleshooting, independence and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Hands-on IT support, desktop support or system administration experience.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Familiar with AD administration and access control.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience with firewall administration and IT security practices.
• Experience with Sophos Firewall is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with external vendors for equipment and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Independent, service-oriented and good communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily IT support to employees and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Support LAN, Wi-Fi, switches and network connectivity for office operations.
• Perform Active Directory user administration including password resets and access setup.
• Assist with firewall administration, network security and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure and deploy computers, software and peripherals.
• Provide support for Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors for purchases, repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, system records and documentation.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding IT setup and access arrangements.
• Monitor systems to identify issues and minimise disruptions.
• Escalate complex problems to proper support teams or vendors.
• Support other IT operations and infrastructure tasks as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide daily IT support to employees, resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other office IT equipment.
• Support office network operations, including LAN, Wi-Fi, switches and network connectivity.
• Perform user account administration in Active Directory, including access permissions, password resets and account setup.
• Assist with firewall administration, network security and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure and deploy computers, software and IT peripherals for employees.
• Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors on equipment purchases, repairs, maintenance and technical support.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, system records and technical documentation.
• Handle IT setup and access arrangements for employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Monitor IT systems and identify potential technical issues to minimise operational disruptions.
• Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate support teams or vendors when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline preferred.
• Relevant hands‑on experience in IT support, desktop support, system administration or IT infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
• Familiar with Active Directory administration, including user account management and access permissions.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, printers and network issues.
• Knowledge of firewall administration and IT security practices.
• Experience with Sophos Firewall will be an added advantage.
• Able to coordinate with external vendors on IT equipment and maintenance matters.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Responsible, service‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
