Job summary

Allied Search Pte Ltd. is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to provide day-to-day IT support across hardware, software, network, and end-user issues. The role includes troubleshooting PCs, printers, and LAN/Wi‑Fi, and administering Sophos Firewall and Active Directory tasks.

You will manage hardware deployment and coordinate with vendors for procurement and services. The ideal candidate has an IT degree or diploma and prior IT support experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, desktop support, or an IT infrastructure environment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, network, and user issues.
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, peripherals, printers, LAN/Wi‑Fi, and basic network issues.
• Administer basic Sophos Firewall and Active Directory functions, including user accounts, passwords, access, and Group Policies.
• Manage IT hardware setup, deployment, maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Coordinate with vendors on IT procurement, quotations, warranties, repairs, and support services.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and basic system documentation.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when required.
• Ensure IT systems and equipment remain operational and properly maintained.
