Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime in Singapore seeks a Lead Instrument Engineer to head the Instrumentation & Control discipline on offshore EPC/EPCI projects, delivering safe, reliable, and cost‑effective solutions. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary focal point for instrumentation matters during project execution.

The role requires 10+ years of instrumentation and control experience in offshore Oil & Gas, familiarity with IEC/API/ISO/NORSOK standards, and proven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of instrumentation & control experience in offshore Oil & Gas environments.
• Experience as package lead on large EPC/EPCI projects with IEC/API/ISO/NORSOK knowledge.
• Strong ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the instrument engineering discipline for assigned projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise instrumentation activities to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage discipline interfaces across disciplines and with vendors/partners.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
• Lead design, specification, and implementation of instrumentation & control systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specs and regulatory requirements.
• Support HAZOP, SIL, FAT, SAT, commissioning and startup activities.
