Job summary

manpower staffing services (singapore) pte ltd is seeking an accomplished Instrumentation & Control engineer for offshore oil & gas projects in Singapore. You will lead I&C activities, review technical documents, and ensure compliance with IEC, API, ISO, and NORSOK standards across FPSOs and offshore platforms.

You will mentor engineers, drive design, FAT/SAT, and startup activities, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable ICSS solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering.
10–15 years of Instrumentation & Control engineering experience offshore.
Experience with FPSOs, offshore platforms, floating production facilities, brownfield projects.
Experience in FEED, detailed design, project execution, commissioning, startup.
Experience leading engineering teams or discipline lead on EPC/EPCI projects.
Knowledge of IEC, API, ISO, NORSOK, and classification society requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead I&C engineering activities for offshore oil & gas projects.
Prepare, review, and approve engineering documents, drawings, and specs.
Design and support instrumentation, control, safety, and ICSS systems.
Ensure all engineering work complies with client requirements and standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.
Lead technical reviews, bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews.
Support HAZOP, SIL studies, FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers.
Drive engineering excellence and knowledge sharing within the team.
