Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to oversee and maintain on-premises and hybrid infrastructure. You will manage incidents, governance, and upgrades to ensure secure, reliable, and stable operations.

The role requires 5+ years in infrastructure or platform operations, strong vendor coordination, and hands-on experience with VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix, Linux, Windows Server, and hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform operations
• Experience supporting production or mission-critical environments
• Strong technical understanding of infrastructure operations across virtualization, OS, storage, backup, networking
• Experience working with vendor-supported operating models and managing external support teams
• Participation in technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex incidents
• Experience with coordinating technical projects, risk tracking and dependencies
• Experience in government or public sector settings is a plus
• Strong communication and coordination with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure including AWS or Azure
• Good to have data centre operations experience
• ITIL v4 Foundation is preferred
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational support and maintenance of critical infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments
• Provide technical oversight across compute, storage, virtualization, OS, backup, DR, HA, and related platforms
• Lead incident management with root cause analysis and recovery planning
• Coordinate vendor activities for tasks, incidents, service requests, and deliverables
• Review and assess changes, SRs, and recovery plans for practicality and security alignment
• Support governance activities including change review, risk awareness, and compliance readiness
• Assist in modernization and multi-year technology refresh while maintaining stability
• Plan and track infrastructure activities across teams and vendors for upgrades and migrations
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and status to meet milestones and readiness
• Collaborate with application, network, security, and vendor teams; maintain runbooks and governance artefacts
