Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to support on-premises and hybrid infrastructure, focusing on reliability, stability, and modernization in a government/regulatory environment. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain day-to-day operations and drive improvements.

The role includes governance reviews, change approvals, and coordinating multi-year technology refresh programs to ensure minimal downtime and secure, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure or platform operations.
• Experience with production or mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, OS, storage, backup, networking.
• Experience working with vendor-supported operating models.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational support for on-premises and hybrid infrastructure.
• Provide technical oversight across compute, storage, virtualization, OS, backup, DR and HA.
• Lead incident management with root-cause analysis and recovery planning.
• Coordinate vendor activities to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Review changes and service requests to ensure security and architecture alignment.
• Support governance activities including risk, compliance, and readiness checks.
• Plan and track technical infrastructure activities for refreshes and migrations.
• Collaborate with application, network, security teams to resolve platform issues.
