Job summary

people profilers pte. ltd. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead warehouse optimization initiatives in Singapore's East region. You will identify bottlenecks, model capacity needs, and drive data-driven improvements across operations.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT and external partners to deliver projects, implement automation, and influence strategy with compelling business cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and data analysis software (Excel, Power BI, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Find the bottlenecks and fix them. Lead operational excellence and continuous improvement projects that lift productivity, quality and customer service across warehouse operations.
• Plan for growth. Model capacity and resource needs for manpower, equipment, storage and material flow so the operation is ready for future demand.
• Map, measure, optimise. Run process mapping, workflow analysis, facility layout studies, cost-performance evaluations and time-and-motion studies to set standards and sharpen workforce planning.
• Build the models behind key decisions. Develop simulations and data-driven analyses that shape solution design and new value-added services.
• Bring in automation and technology. Evaluate, recommend and help implement solutions that make the operation more efficient and scalable, then review how material handling, storage and automation systems perform after go-live.
• Work across the ecosystem. Partner with Operations, Engineering, IT, external vendors and the customer to deliver projects successfully.
• Influence strategy. Turn your findings into project updates, performance reports and business cases that leadership acts on.
• Drive transformation. Support customer-led initiatives, operational transformation projects and new service launches on the account.
