Job summary

The NHG Health CHILL team at Tan Tock Seng Hospital seeks an Industrial Designer (Senior Assistant Manager) to improve healthcare through physical product design. You will lead user research, concept development, prototyping, testing, and vendor management in a multidisciplinary setting.

You will work under the CHI Living Lab to cultivate scalable product innovations and ensure designs meet medical device standards where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience as an industrial designer or design engineer.
• Strong portfolio in physical products and related activities.
• Experience in creating physical prototypes and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• User Research & Concept Development with healthcare professionals and external users.
• Prototyping from low to mid-fidelity using CAD tools and CMF specs.
• Testing and documenting results from lab and real-world settings.
• Vendor management for medium- to high-fidelity prototypes and manufacturing.
