Job summary

Personnel Link JobHub Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Design Engineer to drive new product designs aligned with customer needs and project timelines.

You will manage development activities, support DHF creation, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust medical devices. In this role you will refine existing products based on feedback, contribute to cost and quality improvements, and assist with project management during design phases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Material Science.
• Minimum 5 years in medical device industry with new product development progress and project management.
• Experience with medical instruments/active devices, mechanical structure and plastic parts design.
• Familiar with ISO 13485 or FDA QSR design control.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding and metal processes.

Responsibilities

Senior Design Engineer

• Develop new product design based on customer needs, project management and support related DHF creation
• Maintain the existing products based on customer feedback and internal inputs
• Provide technical support and work together with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements on product cost, quality and delivery
• Assist on project management during new product design

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Material Science
• Minimum 5 years working experience in medical device industry, executed new product development progress and project management
• Experienced with medical instruments or active medical device, competent with mechanical structure design, complex plastic parts structure design, and understand the related medical standards
• Good cross department communication and collaboration
• Creo modelling skills and innovative product design capability
• Mechanical structure design competence including plastic design, metal part design, etc.
• Familiar with ISO 13485 or FDA QSR design control
• Familiar with plastic injection molding process, metal machinery process
• Problem Solving and self-motivate

Salary: $7K
